SPACE ARCHITECTURE WINTER INTERNS (SEPT - JAN)

AAKA SPACE STUDIO  is a pioneering organization at the forefront of space architecture, focused on designing and developing innovative structures for future space habitats, lunar colonies, and Mars missions. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Space Architectural Intern to join our team and contribute to groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of human habitation in space.

Employment type: Full time

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team of space architects to create conceptual designs and architectural plans for space habitats and lunar/Mars colonies.

  • Assist in the development of 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively.

  • Conduct research on space architecture, materials, technologies, and sustainable practices.

  • Support the integration of engineering and technical requirements into architectural designs.

  • Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in space exploration and a passion for pushing the boundaries of architectural design.

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar).

  • Knowledge of rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion) and graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • A creative and innovative mindset, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Prior experience or projects related to space architecture will be highly valued but not mandatory.

Duration and Compensation: This is a 6-month internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability. The intern will work 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target markets and industry trends

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective PR strategies and campaigns

  • Create engaging content for press releases, company announcements, and social media platforms

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
