At Aaka Space Studio, we push the boundaries of innovation in space architecture, rigorously testing our designs to envision the future of habitats on the Moon, Mars, and beyond. As part of our mission, we have established India’s first space analog facility to simulate Martian and Lunar conditions, marking a significant leap in the nation's space exploration capabilities. Our research addresses critical challenges, including the potential impact of circadian disruption on astronauts’ sleep patterns and neurocognitive functions. We have tested habitat simulations under extreme conditions, gaining valuable insights into isolation during long-duration missions while emphasizing anthropometry, ergonomics, and sustainable habitat solutions. Through these endeavors, we strive to accelerate India's advancements in space architecture and technology, paving the way for a multi-planetary future

The White Rann, renowned for its extreme and unforgiving landscape, was meticulously chosen as the site for India's first Lunar Analog Expedition, led by Aaka Space Studio Pvt Ltd. This unique region, with its striking resemblance to the lunar surface—characterized by wide temperature fluctuations, a barren terrain, and saline desert conditions—offered an ideal setting to replicate the challenges astronauts would encounter on the Moon. The mission marked a significant milestone in India's space exploration journey, as Aaka Space Studio tested advanced technologies, innovative habitat designs, and critical operational strategies to support future lunar missions. By leveraging this extraordinary environment, the expedition underscored the studio's leadership in space architecture and analog research, propelling India to the forefront of global space innovation
